Amariah "Miss Mari" is a Nebraska native. Growing up in North Platte, she has over 17 years of Dance experience. After her own student years, she continued her dance education by taking classes throughout the Midwest with some of the country's greatest instructors, performers, and choreographers. Mari came on staff at the Stage Dance Studio in 2010 and founded the ballet and jazz programs there.
She graduated with her associate of the arts with an emphasis in vocal performance from mid-plains community college. She continues to teach in North Platte part time.
Mari specializes in ballet, pointe, jazz, musical theater, lyrical, and contemporary.
Miss Mari is very active in the community, she has judged numerous dance competitions around the state, and has choreographed for several high school, collegiate and professional programs, as well as performing on the stage herself.
Some of her favorite rolls include Christine (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Choreographer for Annie, Oliver, and The Little Mermaid, and playing both Choreographer and the title role in Mary Poppins.
Miss Mari's focus and mission is finding the "story" in the music and inviting the audience in to share in that experience

Joshua Gesinski has seven years of dance experience in ballet, tap, and jazz at the Detroit Center for Creative Studies. During his time there he was privileged to study tap under Savion Glover. Josh is very active in the community theater with lead roles such as King of Bohemia (Sherlock), Rooster (Annie) and Bill Sykes (Oliver the Musical). He runs his security company SOF Protections out of Kearney and his role at the studio is mostly administrative. You can see him around the studio with Artie (6) and Darcy(3) who each have already added several stage credits to their names as well.

Hanna Wills has 10 years of dance experience in ballet, tap, hiphop, musical theater, jazz, lyrical and contemporary the Fusion Dance Studio in Omaha Nebraska.
Through this she has attended many dance intensives and conventions and has continued pursuing her passion for dance by choreographing, assisting and teaching. After graduation, Hanna came to the University of Nebraska Kearney to study psychology and become a counselor. Hanna was the only freshman to make the UNK dance team at auditions. She strives to continue exploring and growing with the dance team for 3 more years.

Kalee Reams is originally from Hastings, Nebraska. She began taking dance lessons at age 5 and grew up at T'Dance School of Performing Arts taking many genres of dance. She recently graduated from UNK in July 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and minors in Dance and Educational Studies. Throughout her collegiate dance career, Kalee was able to dance with guest artist, travel and learn to choreograph her own works. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in School Counseling K-8 and is a full time SPED Para-Educator at Kenwood Elementary here in Kearney. She is so excited to be back with the Encore Family and cant wait to see the growth of her students.

Kalee started her teaching career with Encore in 2017 as a substitute for Miss Mari for the year before moving on to continue her own dance career. We are so glad to welcome her back to teach several ballet and technique classes.

Vanessa Roebuck started dance at Legacy (formerly The Stage) Dance and Gymnastics at age 12 and joined their competitive dance team at age 13 where she had the opportunity for several years to travel and further her dance education at workshops and masterclasses around the country. Including some time taking classes in LA. She has experience in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hiphop and tumbling. She began as an assistant instructor then began teaching with Legacy in 2019 in Hiphop, Tumbling, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. She also has experience with Creative Rhythm And Movement (CRAM) classes. Coming from a large family as well as family studio life, she works well with young classes.

She graduated from North Platte High and will be attending UNK in Fall 2021. She in an alumni of Miss Mari's Ballet and Technique program with Legacy in North Platte. At Encore Miss Vanessa teaches the junior tap and hiphop classes, as well as helping grow our Acro program and working with our Gothenburg Studio.

DeVere Larington grew up in Ogallala, Nebraska and began his music journey with piano lessons in elementary school and has continued to grow that passion for 13 years, adding trumpet and other band instruments to his tool belt. He is currently a Junior in the UNK music education department. He has been band rehearsal master and conductor for the Ogallala middle school, and worked with the Horizon Middle school music department in Kearney. He also directs the Crystal Palace Revue every summer back home in Ogallala. When not playing music, he enjoyed speech and one act in his own high school years. As well as his education and pedagogy classes, he has studied woodwind, string, and brass techniques. 

At Encore, Mr. DeVere teaches many of our piano lessons and also offers instruction in the band instruments. 

Morgan Wadkins-Meyer was born and raised in Gibbon, NE and graduated from Gibbon High School in 2018. In high school, Morgan was involved in volleyball, basketball, track, dance and cheer. Morgan was also involved in one acts, choreographed for show choir and musicals. The roles Morgan has played at Gibbon include Consuela in West Side Story, Peppermint Patty in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Rusty in Footloose, and Roxanne in Cyrano de Burger Shack. Morgan is currently a senior Music Education major with minors in Dance and Special Education at UNK. Her primary instrument is voice and her secondary is alto saxophone. At UNK, Morgan is involved in Pride of the Plains Marching Band, Choraleers, Nebrakats Show Choir, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and is a fourth year member of the cheer squad. In  addition to being a cheerleader at UNK, Morgan is also the cheer coach at Wood River High School and helps the cheer team from her hometown in Gibbon. Morgan runs the praise team at her church in Gibbon and plays the piano for the congregation when needed. Morgan will graduate from UNK in May 2022 and hopes to become a choir teacher at a school nearby.

Miss Morgan is head of our guitar program and also assist in the voice and piano departments.
